The
Career Planning Center offers two courses
to assist students in the career decision making process. Both
courses are designed to help the student decide on a career choice
or affirm a possible choice.
PAW196 Career Planning (1 credit
hour)
Career
Planning is a one hour, arranged course that focuses on one-on-one
interaction between the student and counselor. Emphasis
on paper pencil testing to assess work related interests, values,
and abilities, and exploration of careers.
PAW108 Career Search (2 credit hours)
Career
Search offers a more structured approach to the process of finding
a career. Using text and standard course format, students
discover their intrinsic motivators as they relate to the working
world. In addition to internal motivators, students will
also discover how they fit into the external world of work.
