TRIO programs like EXCEL/SSS assist students to overcome financial and other barriers to higher education by providing a comprehensive and integrated support system that addresses academic, career, financial, and personal development concerns. EXCEL ’s Director and Assistant Director provide advising services which focus on helping students identify obstacles to their education and develop a strategy to overcome them.
