Q:        When will the Fall Schedule Booklet be available?
A:        It will be available online and in print on Monday, March 24.

Q:        What if my major or area of study has changed?
A:        Complete a Change of Major/Advisor Form and submit to the Registrar’s Office. If you are a student at and Outreach Center, submit the Change of Major/Advisor Form to the Outreach Center Director.

Q:        If I have changed my major will I be assigned a different faculty advisor?
A:        Yes. The name of your new advisor will be e-mailed to you.

Q:        When can I early register for Fall 2008 classes?

Q:        Do I need to make an appointment with my faculty advisor even if I plan to web register?
A:        Yes. It is important that you review your schedule with your faculty advisor to make certain you are enrolling in the coursework you need to graduate with a degree or certificate.

Q:        When does my faculty advisor have office hours?
A:        Go to Faculty Office Hours to find out when your advisor has office hours.

Q         If I prefer to web register rather than paper register, how can I make certain my PIN is correct?
A:        On March 28 all PINS will be reset to your birth date. Your birth date must be entered with eight digits, i.e. 03021985.

Q:        Where can I get a copy of a degree plan so I can make certain I am taking the course work I need to graduate?
A:        Select the appropriate link for your type of degree: Associate of Arts Degree= Arts and Sciences transfer degree

            Associate of Science/Associate of Applied Science = Career and Technical Education 2 year degree

Q:        What about financial aid for Fall?
A:        If you receive a scholarship or financial aid remember financial aid arrangements must be made prior to your registration and you are responsible for meeting the condition of your award program.

Q:        Where can I find information about tuition payment deadlines?
A:        This information is in the Fall Schedule Booklet and under Tuition Rates and Payment Plans.

Q:        Wht is the deadline for submitting an Application for Graduation Candidacy for Summer 2008 (August graduation) or Fall 2008 (December graduation)?
A:        The Registrar’s Office welcomes you to submit your Application for Graduation Candidacy any time after you have enrolled in your Summer or Fall 2008 classes. The deadline for submitting your Application for Graduation for Summer 2008 is June 13 at 4:00 P.M. and graduation for Fall 2008 is September 15 at 4:00 P.M.

Q:        Can I web register if I want to audit a class?
A:        No, you have to paper register if you plan to audit a class.

Q:        Can I web register for a class I am repeating?
A:        No, you must paper register for any course you are repeating, even if you received a grade of “W” (withdrawal) for the course.

Q:        How do I register for an independent study course?
A:        You must paper register for any independent study course. Department Chair and Instructor written approvals are needed for an independent study course.

Q:        When can I purchase my Fall textbooks?
A:        Textbooks will become available at the main campus bookstore August 7.

Q:        What should I do if I register early and decide not to attend MAC?
A:        You need to complete a “Withdrawal/Exit Form” and submit it to the Registrar’s Office. This form is available on the Park Hills campus and at any Outreach Center. Failure to complete this form will result in your being liable for fees and may result in “Fs” being recorded on your permanent record.
