Once you receive notification that you have been accepted to Mineral Area College, you will be invited to sign up online for C.A.R.D.S., MAC's freshman orientation program, using your MAC userid and password. Students are encouraged to enroll in C.A.R.D.S. as early as possible in order to have more classes and meeting days/times to choose from.
C.A.R.D.S. is a required two-hour orientation program for first-time freshman and first-year students with fewer than 12 non-dual credit college semester credit hours earned. The program features information on student services, financial aid, billing, housing, and more. Students will leave C.A.R.D.S. with their fall 2018 class schedule in hand and a MAC student ID card.
C.A.R.D.S. sessions are held during the spring and summer semesters to prepare students for their first fall semester at Mineral Area College. Students required to attend an orientation who are admitted late, or cannot attend a C.A.R.D.S. program, will be allowed to enroll in classes by scheduling an appointment with their advisor after the last scheduled C.A.R.D.S. program in June. For questions, please email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 573-518-2119.
