Important Graduation Information
Dear Graduate:
With the filing of your application for graduation, you have taken another
step towards the completion of the process. Deans Jean Merrill-Doss,
Kay Crecelius and Vice President Gil Kennon join me in requesting that you
attend a Graduation Seminar (see the schedule below).
At these sessions we will discuss the graduation process,
commencement, transcripts request, exit interviews for Financial Aid
recipients and Career and Technical Graduates, and the Exit Exams.
If you are unable to attend one of the seminars, you may pick a seminar
information packet and video of the seminar in the Student Services office
after the last seminar.
All degree seeking graduates are required to take the MAPP
(Measure of Academic Proficiency & Progress) Exit Exam. If you have
previously taken the MAPP test you must contact the Assessment Office
and notify them when and where you tested. By doing this you will be
excused from re-testing. If you fail to notify us you will be required
to take the current MAPP test. The schedule for testing is listed below.
All tests will be given in ROOM AS101. More information regarding this
test will be given at the Graduation Seminars.
You should sign up for your choice of Seminar date in Student Services
or by email (ncrader@MineralArea.edu) as soon as possible. You may sign
up for the MAPP test when you attend the Grad Seminar, or you may
sign up in Student Services after you have attended a seminar or after
you have viewed and returned the seminar video.
