Step 4: TAKE A PLACEMENT TEST

Mineral Area College reserves the right to guide enrollment on the basis of placement tests. Placement testing is required for enrollment in English and Math courses. The ACT or COMPASS test is used to place a student into the appropriate course based on their ability in English, Math, and Reading. If you have not taken one of these tests, please contact the Assessment Office at 518-2202 or e-mail ncrader@mineralarea.edu. ACT scores listed on high school transcripts ARE acceptable. If you have taken the ACT test and it is not on your high school transcript, you may request additional copies from:

Assessment Testing
