General Policies
Students taking tests in the Learning Center are required to know their course name (e.g. Astronomy, American History I, Medical Terminology, etc.) and the instructor's name. Students must also provide their student I.D. cards (in special circumstances any government issue photo ID will be accepted) before taking a test. No prohibited items are permitted to be taken into the testing center except what the instructor has directed the Testing Staff to provide or allow. Students are required to sign in and sign out every time that they take an exam. Please follow all directions given by Testing Staff.

 Rulers
 Earplugs
 Hats
 Notes
 Watches
 Cell phones
 Tablets
 Cameras
 Headphones
 Recording devices
 Any other electronic devices or reference materials
Additionally, any article of clothing, jewelry, or accessory containing any information interpreted by testing staff to be related to the exam is prohibited. Any students in violation of this policy will be required to surrender their exam. A Testing Incident Report will be filed with the instructor.
Calculator Policy
The Testing Center follows policies as set down by the Mathematics Department regarding the use of calculators. The TI30X IIS scientific calculator is the only calculator permitted for PreAlgebra, Elementary Algebra, Intermediate Algebra, and College Algebra courses. Any student requiring a TI30X IIS calculator for a Math Department course test that is administered in the Learning Center is required to use one provided by the Learning Center. The TI83, TI84, and TI89 graphing calculators are permitted at the instructor's discretion for Trigonometry and Calculus courses.
Any calculator may be inspected and the covers removed at the request of the Testing Staff.
Tests for nonMathematics courses will follow the directions of the individual instructors regarding calculator usage.
