As much as ever in the last twenty-five years, Public Safety is open to students with numerous career paths.  Mineral Area College Public Safety Department offers the obvious and direct path to reach those goals.  Here is a list of those paths:

  • Two Year Associate of Applied Science in Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement

  • Two Year Associate of Applied Science in Forensics

  • Two Year Associate of Applied Science in Judicial Administration

  • A complete ON-LINE Associate of Applied Science degree in all three plans

  • Bachelor’s of Science in Criminal Justice transfer studies to Central Methodist University, SEMO, and UMSL through the 2+2 program.

  • One Year Certificate in Law Enforcement

The Mineral Area College Criminal Justice Department, is deeply committed to the college’s mission to deliver high quality learning and learning related services to students and the community we serve. Our top priority is to provide educational, vocational and technical training that will lead to transfer to a university, specialized employment, or career advancement.

Mineral Area College offers 3 different 2 year training programs/AAS degree plans to choose from: the Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement, Forensic Science and Court Administration.
