The Mineral Area College Campus Police Department is made up of 2 full time police officers, 1 part time police officer, and 2 part time security officers.  The primary function of the Mineral Area College Campus Police is to provide for the safety and welfare of all the members of the college community and others who are on campus.

Campus Police Officers have the full authority granted by Mineral Area College to enforce the rules and regulations as outlined in the Student Handbook and Staff Handbook. They have the authority to detain students and request identification and will immediately involve the Park Hills Department if criminal activity is observed or reported.

While the Campus Police officers do have arrest powers, the Campus Secruty does not so if a problem arised while security is on duty, they will request arrests to be made by the Park Hills Police Department. Full and constant cooperation between area Law Enforcement Departments and the Mineral Area College Department of Public Safety, MAC Campus Police and MAC Security ensures protection for all college community members.
