Area College law enforcement academy is designed to provide regional
law enforcement training to students and law enforcement agencies.
The 1000-hour basic and advanced academy, 600-hour basic academy,and
the 130-hour basic academy are currently being offered at

The
Law Enforcement Academy is just one of many programs that are
offered through the Mineral Area College Departmet of Public Safety.
We currently have available Contract Training and Continuing Education
which is obtainable to Missouri Certified Peace Officers. We currently
provide College Credit for many of our continuing education programs.
We also offer many specialized programs such as Weapons of Mass
Destruction training and other additional specified programs when
available.
The
Mineral Area College Law Enforcement Academy also offers various
Non-Law Enforcement training such as the Carrying Concealed Weapons
Course and Bail Bond Agent Training. For more information
