  Programs of Study

What is Programs of Study?

The primary purpose of Programs of Study is to provide high school students with the information they need to select and schedule courses that will successfully prepare them for college and/or the job market. The Program of Study lists the courses that should be taken each year, from 9th grade through 12th grade.  It also includes courses that are available at the local Career Technology Center as well as any dual credit courses that are available so students can earn both college credit and high school credit at the same time.  (Read more here.)

How does it work?

Students select the broad career cluster that contains the type of careers in which they are interested.  For instance, a student who is interested in working with computers, either as a video game designer or as a computer maintenance technician, would select the Information Technology Career Cluster and download the Program of Study for that cluster.
