Online Databases

CMU at MAC students are more than welcome to use MAC Library's online databases when they are on campus. Remote access to MAC Library's databases are restricted to MAC's students, faculty and staff; however, remote access to databases is available from CMU's Library.

Check out the Catalog/Database page for a listing of CMU's Library databases. Once you select a database, you will be prompted for your student ID number (include CMU at the end) and your MyCMU user name. If you have trouble logging in to a database, please call CMU's Library at 660-248-6271 for assistance.

Library Material

CMU at MAC students may checkout library materials housed in the MAC Library. Students need to know their CMU student ID number and present a photo ID at the time of checkout. Use MAC Library's online catalog to find books and other materials such as videos, DVDs and course reserves.

If you need a book that is not in the MAC Library collection, search MOBIUS. If you find the book you want, click on "Request Item".

  • When prompted for your cluster, select Quest.
  • When prompted for your student ID, key in your CMU student ID number with the letters CMU after it. For example, 987654321CMU.
  • The "Pickup Cluster" will be Archway.
  • The "Pickup Location" will be Mineral Area, Library.

An email will be sent to your CMU email account when the MOBIUS books are ready for check out. You can check the status of your requests at anytime through your CMU My Library Account.

You may pick up your MOBIUS books at the MAC Library Circulation Desk with a photo ID and your CMU student ID number. MOBIUS books may be checked out for 4 weeks and may be renewed 2 times.

CMU at MAC students may renew their library material online at CMU My Library Account or call CMU's Library at 660-248-6271.
