Course Description

A presentation of the fundamentals of chemistry for the non-science major who needs a course in physical science or who wishes to broaden their scientific knowledge. The course consists of three lecture periods and two laboratory periods per week. Occasionally the laboratory period is used as a review and problem solving session. Every attempt is made to correlate the laboratory work with the material discussed in the lectures.   A grade of a C or better in Elementary Algebra is a prerequisite.
