IMPORTANT DEGREE NOTES:

    • The AA degree plan requires two (2) hours of PE activity in addition to the minimum 60 hours in genral education and

       major area courses.

    • Humanities require 9 hours; 3hrs from at least 2 disciplines and 3 hrs of which must be a cultural diversity course.

    • Physical & Biological Sciences: Must choose 2; 1 from each discipline, including one with a laboratory component.

    • History & Political Science: Students may take 6 hours of HIS1230 and HIS1230 or POS1130 and POS1140: other

      options include HIS1230 and POS1130 or POS1140; POS1130 and HIS1230 or HIS1240.

    • SWK2000 Theories & Skills is only offered in the Fall druing the MWF 1:00-1:50 time period; SWK2020 Policy &

      Politics is only offered in the Spring during the TR 9:30-10:45 time period.

    • PSY1140 Gen Psychology II and PSY1160 Applied Psychology are only offered in the Spring.

    • SOC1240 Substance Abuse in Modern Society is only offered in the Fall as an evening class.
