Job Description: Skills and Abilities: Excellent nursing skills Strong communication skills Ability to communicate knowledge and experience to students Sample Essential Job Functions: Develops and implements a curriculum that will prepare students to pass the CNA certification examination Designs informative lessons and practical experiences, and evaluates students through assignments, clinical work and exams Adequately prepares for student instruction by developing lessons which address a variety of learning modalities and include multiple activities Works with outside agencies to provide positive field experiences and mentoring Sponsors and organizes HOSA Stays abreast on current development in the field of nursing Maintains confidentiality of information gained through the performance and location of the position Complies with policy, procedures, regulations, and law Supervises all students assigned in instructional activities Plans and develops curriculum to meet competency.
Min. Degree Req.: Bachelor's Degree
Job Requirements: Reports To: Farmington Senior High School Building Principal Education and Experience: Minimum requirement of active R.N. license Bachelor of Science in Nursing, preferred Must be eligible for CNA and Medical Terminology I/II Certification Minimum of three years experience in nursing Candidate should possess a Missouri Vocational Teacher Certification or be elibible for a Missouri Vocational Teacher Certification
