Job Title: Adjunct English Instructor

Job Description: Instruct and evaluate students in college composition. Assess student learning. Develop, motivate, and retain students with diverse academic backgrounds throughout the composition course sequence.
Min. Degree Req.: Master's Degree
Job Requirements: Master's degree in English, MFA, or Master's degree in a related field with 18 graduate hours in English, Creative Writing, Journalism, Literature or Technical Writing.
Required Skills: Proficient knowledge of English language grammar, composition, syntax, usage, vocabulary, pronunciation, spelling and punctuation; teaching practices, methods, and techniques. Proficient computer skills.
Pay Rate: $570 per credit hour
Pay Type: semester contract
Work Schedule: largest need is for 3 credit hour day time classes on the Park Hills campus
Hours Per Week: 3 to 9 credit hours
