Facilities Director Mineral Area CollegeResponsible for the structural, mechanical and physical maintenance and repair of the district’s building and grounds. Supervise all physical plant functions including: planning and maintenance of building, grounds, and equipment; liaison with architects and contractors on new construction; processing payments; maintaining records, files, deeds, titles, bond indentures, etc.; compliance with all college, state and federal regulations, and arranging insurance coverage. Supervise central shipping and receiving and college inventory. Provide a risk management program for the College. Participate in short and long term capital planning. Provide progress reports to the Board. Regularly inspect all buildings and grounds to ensure high standards of cleanliness, efficient operation and security. Provide and supervise vehicle usage, vehicle rental, and maintenance and travel reimbursement. Late evening and overnight hours expected. Other duties as assigned by the President.
Adjunct English Instructor Mineral Area CollegeThe Adjunct English Instructor will instruct and evaluate students and assess student learning in college level writing and oral communication in traditional 3 credit hour courses on the Park Hills campus.
Part-Time Computer Technician Mineral Area CollegeWork up to 19 hours per week Monday through Friday to troubleshoot computer hardware and software. Install equipment and systems. Prioritize user service request. Perform timely service calls and keep users informed of service request status. Perform other duties as necessary related to the installation, maintenance and support of computing resources.
Evening Customer Service Representative Mineral Area CollegeServe as primary reception and information resource for the Dean of Students by assisting walk-in traffic and answering telephone calls from 11am-7pm Monday through Thursday; 8am-4pm on Friday. Responsible for performing a variety of student record keeping and general office tasks, involving frequent public contact and frequent computer use. Responsible for scheduling, communicating, and coordinating resources for use of college facilities, including tracking and coordinating community use of college meeting rooms. Assemble information in the receptionist area, maintain lost and found items file, assist with student enrollment, answer online chat questions, and other duties as assigned.
