Part Time Data Specialist Mineral Area CollegeJoin a 3 year grant team in building, entering, mining and analyzing data. Work about 20 hours per week. Facilities Director Mineral Area CollegeResponsible for the structural, mechanical and physical maintenance and repair of the district’s building and grounds. Supervise all physical plant functions including: planning and maintenance of building, grounds, and equipment; liaison with architects and contractors on new construction; processing payments; maintaining records, files, deeds, titles, bond indentures, etc.; compliance with all college, state and federal regulations, and arranging insurance coverage. Supervise central shipping and receiving and college inventory. Provide a risk management program for the College. Participate in short and long term capital planning. Provide progress reports to the Board. Regularly inspect all buildings and grounds to ensure high standards of cleanliness, efficient operation and security. Provide and supervise vehicle usage, vehicle rental, and maintenance and travel reimbursement. Late evening and overnight hours expected. Other duties as assigned by the President.
Chief Financial Officer Mineral Area CollegeResponsible for the administration of the district's accounting and financial reporting systems. Plan, coordinate, and maintain compliance of the accounting area in accordance with district policies and local, state, and federal laws and regulations. Organize and supervise staff to effectively provide payroll, accounts receivable, accounts payable, bookstore, budget monitoring, cash flow, account reconciliation, and financial operations and reporting functions. Communicate regularly to promote and improve services and understanding of the operational purpose of the accounting area. Prepare progress reports to the Board outlining status on major projects monthly. Establish and maintain a spirit of cooperation with other directors. Complete special assignments such as cost studies, investment analysis, tax trend analysis, and comparative surveys with other institutions. Budget checks and control all location budgets. Prepare annual budget and Federal and State reports.
Part-Time Learning Center Writing Lab Assistant Mineral Area College This part-time writing lab assistant works up to 19 hours per week, daytime and/or evenings as needed by the Director of the Learning Center. Work one-on-one with college students who are completing writing assignments. This part-time position does not include benefits.

Part-Time Campus Security Mineral Area College Under the general direction of the Director of Public Safety, routinely works an assigned shift and performs patrol duties on foot or by vehicle to safeguard the campus and visiting personnel, property, and facilities against accidents, bodily harm, fire, theft, vandalism and illegal entry; monitors buildings for breaches of security, criminal activity, building problems and malfunctions; eliminates and/or reports hazardous conditions; investigates incidents; provides assistance to staff and patrons on an "on-call' basis; reports incidents requiring public safety intervention; takes the necessary action within the limits of prescribed policies and procedures to correct situations or, if necessary, contacts the appropriate authorities for guidance and assistance; maintains daily activity log; enforces parking regulations, directs traffic and assists in crowd control; and performs other related duties as assigned. This is a non-sworn, unarmed security officer position.
Adjunct Dance Instructor Mineral Area College Teach Dance Appreciation Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 10am until 10:50am August – December. The course includes cultural, ethnic and international formations, focusing on the origins and related roles of dancer, choreographer and spectator.

Academic Advisor, Educational Talent Search I & II Mineral Area College This is a ten month, grant-funded position responsible for assisting the Educational Talent Search Director in managing the project and providing services to students who are enrolled in the program. Responsibilities of the Academic Advisor include: travel to target schools during the academic year to recruit and interview prospective students and provide services preparing students for college success. Engage parents and school faculty and staff to develop positive educational experiences for students. Design and supervise student activities including school workshop meetings and field trips. Motivate participants to complete high school and enroll in post-secondary education. Track data and provide reports. Other responsibilities as assigned.
