Chief Financial Officer Mineral Area College Responsible for the administration of the district's accounting and financial reporting systems. Plan, coordinate, and maintain compliance of the accounting area in accordance with district policies and local, state, and federal laws and regulations. Organize and supervise staff to effectively provide payroll, accounts receivable, accounts payable, bookstore, budget monitoring, cash flow, account reconciliation, and financial operations and reporting functions. Prepare progress reports to the Board outlining status on major projects monthly. Establish and maintain a spirit of cooperation with other directors. Complete special assignments such as cost studies, investment analysis, tax trend analysis, and comparative surveys with other institutions. Budget checks and control all location budgets. Prepare annual budget booklet. Prepare Federal and State government reports as needed. Other duties as assigned.
Reading Instructor Mineral Area College Provide instruction for developmental reading program; support and monitor Adjunct reading instructors as needed; assess success of reading requirements; teach 15 hours of reading courses each semester; serve on college committees; participate in college governance.
