Job Description: Emmis St. Louis, 97.1 FM Talk is looking for a regular part time Assistant Producer for the Jamie Allman Morning Show. The Assistant Producer creates and ensures the flow of high quality production and content of on-air broadcasts, Monday through Friday 5:30 a.m. - 9:30 a.m. and is eligible for the complete Emmis Plan benefit package, which includes medical, dental and prescription coverage.
Min. Degree Req.: High School Diploma
Job Requirements: Gathering and editing of audio for The Jamie Allman Morning Show, recruit guests, screen callers and organize contest winners, research and gather information and data for on-air show topics and discussions, coordinate and brainstorm creative ideas with show host and/or Program Director, assist with promotions, commercials and liners, as well as other on-air content as directed, operate the control board during on-air broadcasts
Required Skills: One year experience or training in radio or related field, working knowledge of electronic media, digital editing (SAW preferred), broadcast audio console, must be highly organized with exceptional attention to detail, must have passion and professionalism to succeed in a creative, high pressure environment, applicant selected for this position must agree to and pass a background check.
