Job Title: Field Service Technical Representative

Job Description: SimplexGrinnell is a recognized leader in the manufacture, sales and service of state-of-the-art monitor and control systems for fire alarm, integrated security, communications, nurse call, portable fire extinguishers, suppression and sprinkler fire protection systems. The company is seeking to hire a Field Service Technician that will service fire alarms and other types of equipment in this region.
Min. Degree Req.: High School Diploma
Job Requirements: Must have two to four years of experience in the field, able to carry and move up to 40 lbs, have a min. of a H.S. Diploma/trade school, military, or two year Associate degree in technical field involving electronics or computers. Must possess a valid driver's license and good driving record and be able to pass a drug test and security and background check. Additional requirements may be required.
Required Skills: Must be able to work independently, have strong customer service skills, good computer skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, the ability to read and understand complex building architectural, mechanical and electrical documents, as well as specifications, project schedules and equipment operation manuals. Additional skills may be required.
Pay Rate: To be determined
Pay Type: Hourly
Work Schedule: Normal work schedule
Hours Per Week: 40+ overtime may be required
