Our Mission: Through a unique partnership between Mineral Area College and Workforce Employment Solutions, the mission of Career Placement is total dedication to exceeding the expectations of Mineral Area College students, alumni, faculty and staff. Every time.
Part Time Student Jobs
If you are looking for a part-time job while you are a student at MAC, stop by the Career Placement office. You will receive assistance on how to begin the process of looking for a job and you may even find opportunities with area employers that match the skills and abilities you already have or those you are working toward.
A federal work program administered by MAC offers students the opportunity to be employed on campus. The award received by the student is based on financial need. Students earn $7.25 per hour which is paid on a monthly basis. Various positions are offered to students to complement their education with practical job experience.
Full Time Graduate Jobs
When you mount a full fledged job search as you near graduation and even after you become an alumni, Career Placement can be a valuable ally by providing information on such topics as employer contacts, salary information, job search techniques, resumes, cover letters, application procedures and interviews as well as employer research and salary information. Career Placement maintains a list of job opportunities registered by employers. This service is provided for graduates, free of charge, on a lifetime basis.
