Mission Statement

Our Mission: Through a unique partnership between Mineral Area College and

local employers, the mission of Career Services is to help our students and alumni find job opportunities, while connecting local companies with quality employees.

Part Time Student Jobs

If you are looking for a part-time job while you are a student at MAC, stop by the Career Services office T3 & T4. You will receive assistance on how to begin the process of looking for a job and you may even find opportunities with area employers that match the skills and abilities you already have or those you are working toward.

Work-Study Employment

A federal work program administered by MAC offers students the opportunity to be employed on campus. The award received by the student is based on financial need. Students earn $7.50 per hour which is paid on a monthly basis. Various positions are offered to students to complement their education with practical job experience.

Career Placement maintains a list of job opportunities registered by employers. This service is provided for graduates, free of charge, on a lifetime basis.
