Job Description: The Southeast Missouri Family Violence Council is seeking Shelter Advocates to join their Bonne Terre team. This facility was completed in 1999 and provides residential services to more than 300 women and children every year. As a Shelter Advocate, you will be working directly inside the women's shelter as an advocate for those staying in the facility, answering the crisis hotline, maintaining daily operations of the facility, as well as other duties. All training for Shelter Advocates is provided. If you have that desire to help others, don't let this opportunity pass you by.
Min. Degree Req.: High School Diploma
Job Requirements: No experience required but must be dependable.
Required Skills: Must have computer skills as well as good communication skills.
Pay Rate: P/T - $7.50 & F/T - $8
Pay Type: Hourly
Work Schedule: Shifts are 12 hrs - 8am to 8pm or 8pm to 8am
Hours Per Week: P/T & F/T hours are available
