NJCAA Division I Ranking:
(12/5/18) Shelby Meyer and Cindy Garcia-Penaloza named All-American. Sophomore Shelby Meyer and Freshman Cindy Garcia-Penaloza have been named to the 2018 NJCAA All-American Team. Meyer, a sophomore from Festus, MO played her high school ball at St. Pius X. She helped lead the Lancers to a state title while in high school. She was one of the nation's leaders in digs and helped anchor the Lady Cardinals vaunted back row the last two years at their libero. She was second on the team with assists, and lead MAC in aces.
Cindy Garcia-Penaloza was named 2nd-Team All-American. She is a freshman from Medellin, Columbia. Penaloza was one of the top hitters in the nation leading MAC with 382 kills. She was a pivotal player up front for MAC after they lost some key players in their front row.
Cindy and Shelby become the 4th and 5th All-American players to play at MAC. They follow Jane Kickham, Cailey Bracken, and Pam Zuluaga.

(11/30/18) Cardinals sign Kaylee Portell from St. Pius X High School. The Lady Cardinals have signed Kaylee Portell from St. Pius X High School in Festus, Missouri. Kaylee is a 6'0'' middle hitter who helped the Lancers to two consecutive 2A state titles in 2016 and 2017. MAC is coming off another successful season, winning their 3rd consecutive Region 16 Title, as well as advancing to the National Tournament for the 3rd year in a row. She was coached by Shannon Leftridge, who is the the mother of former Cardinal, Amy Leftridge.
(11/26/18) Blair Busenbark signs with MAC. Mineral Area has signed 5'7" defensive specialist Blair Busenbark from Farmington High School. Blair was a 1st-Team MCCAC All-Conference player for the Knights this past season helping them to a 28-7-1 record. Blair payed for Julie Ward at Farmington and she helped lead them to back-to-back district titles the past two seasons. Mineral Area is coming off another successful season, winning their 3rd consecutive Region 16 Title, as well as advancing to the National Tournament for the 3rd year in a row.
