(5/28/17) Fieser finishes 36th in NJCAA Championship. MAC sophomore Tyler Fieser fineshed 36th out of 136 golfers at the NJCAA Championship. He missed earning All American honors by four strokes. The last two days of the competition he shot 79, 74. This concludes MAC's spring season.

(5/24/17) Tyler Fieser named to PING All-Region team. Tyler Fieser, a sophomore from Cuba, MO, was named to the 2017 PING All-Region team. Tyler was one of ten players named from the central region.
(5/8/17) Tyler Fieser qualifies for National Tournament. The MAC golf team participated in the NJCAA District I Tournament on Saturday, May 6th and Sunday, May 7th. The Cardinals finished the tournament in 5th place. Tyler Fieser finished 2nd overall and will be headed to the NJCAA D2 Golf National Championship in Mesa, AZ from Tuesday, May 23rd – Friday, May 26th. MAC also defeated North Central Missouri College at the District I Tournament to claim the Region 16 Championship.

(5/1/17) MAC to participate in district tournament. The MAC golf team will travel to Normal, IL to participate in the NJCAA District 1 Golf Tournament from Friday, May 5th – Sunday, May 7th. The tournament will be held at D.A. Weibring Golf Course. The top three team scores and the top five individuals not on one of the three teams will qualify for the NJCAA National Golf Tournament in Mesa, AZ.

(4/4/17) MAC participates in Webster University Tournament. Mineral Area College finished 6th place out of 11 teams in the Webster University golf tournament played today at Sunset CC. Due to rain and multiple delays due to lightning the tourney was shortened to 27 holes. MAC shot 306 yesterday to be tied for 6th and shot 154 today. Tyler Fieser shot 71-37 to tie for second place. Ricardo Devoto shot 75-38. Dylan White shot 77-40. And Marcos Devoto shot 83-41. Harry Willsher shot 86-39.

(3/24/17) MAC plays home event this week at Crown Pointe. The home golf tournament originally scheduled for Sunday, March 26th - Monday, March 27th has been moved to Monday, March 27th - Tuesday, March 28th. The tournament will be held at Crown Pointe Golf Club in Farmington.
(3/20/17) Cardinals start season in Alabama. The MAC golf team traveled to Scottsboro, AL to participate in the Ron Marshall Spring Fling at Goose Pond Colony in a tournament from Thursday, March 16th-Saturday, March 18th. The Cardinals finished their first tournament of the season in 13th place.

(10/10/16) MAC concludes fall season. The MAC golf team wrapped up their fall season by traveling to Alton, IL to participate in a tournament hosted by Lewis and Clark CC at Spencer T. Olin Golf Course. The Cardinals finished in 3rd place as a team at the tournament. Tyler Fieser placed 3rd overall and Ricardo Devoto finished 5th overall.
(10/7/16) Cardinals finish 12th in Henderson State Tournament. The MAC golf team participated in the Henderson State Invitational Golf Tournament. The tournament ran through Tuesday, October 4th. It was held at The Arlington Course in Hot Springs, AR.
(9/17/16) Cards host Lewis & Clark. The MAC golf team played host to Lewis and Clark CC in a match on Wednesday, September 14th at Crown Pointe Golf Club. The Cardinals won the match and Tyler Fieser turned in the low score of the day.

(10/26/15) MAC defeats Kaskaskia in final Fall event. The MAC golf team defeated Kaskaskia by the score of 305-311 at Arlington Greens, in Granite City, Illinois on Saturday. Michael Pfitzner was the medalist and shot a 72.
(10/19/15) MAC places 5th in NJCAA Fall Preview. The Mineral Area golf team traveled to Plymouth, Indiana to take part in the NJCAA Fall Preview. (9/8/15) Cardinals participate in Rend Lake Tournament. The Mineral Area College golf team traveled to Rend Lake, IL to play 36 holes in the Rend Lake Tournament on Friday, September 4th. The Cards placed 4th in the tournament, shooting a 294-299 (393). Scott McCandless and Michael Pfitzner tied for 1st place in the tournament with scores of 142. (9/1/15) Former MAC golfer honored at Webster. Matt Gordon (St. Clair, MO) was honored as Webster University's hardest working player this fall. As a part of this honor, Matt has the privilege of carrying the Folds of Honor Bag for a marine who was killed that earned a Purple Heart. He is carrying the bag for the family.
(8/6/15) Men's golf receives academic honor. The Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) announced the 2015 Team Academic Awards this week and the Mineral Area College Golf team was one of four NJCAA Division 2 Golf teams to receive the award. Congratulations to Coach Huff and the MAC Golf team on a wonderful season on the course and in the classroom.
(5/23/15) Cards Finish 11th Place at National Tournament and Scott McCandless Receives Honorable Mention All-American Honors
The Mineral Area College Golf team participated in the NJCAA Division II National Tournament on May 19th-22nd at the Goose Pond Colony in Scottsboro, Alabama. The Cards had an outstanding week, finishing in 11th place out of 18 teams. Congratulations to Scott McCandless on finishing tied for 21st on the leader board.
