Senior Season at North County HS: Smith helped the Raiders finished 20-8 and win the Conference Championship during his senior season. Smith was an All-Conference, All-District, and All-Region performer, he was named the MAAA All-Star Game MVP, and was a member of the KTJJ "Dream Team" while scoring 22 PPG, 10 RPG, and dishing out 5 APG in 2002.
