2007 at North County HS:

Nick was a solid player for North County High School.  He averaged 14 points, 4 rebounds, and 2 assists for the Conference Champion Raiders during his senior season.  He was the team's MVP and Defensive Player of the Year in 2007.  Nick played for long-time North County HS coach, Bill Martin, during his final season of coaching.  Counts helped lead the Raiders to a 20-3 mark last season and is expected to bring a winning additude to the program.  "He is a solid local player that has a great work-ethic.  Nick should help the team on both ends of the floor," stated MAC assistant coach Chad Kish.
