Last Season:  Marquis spent last season playing for Coach Barnes and the Ole Miss Rebels.  The University of Mississippi is a NCAA DI affiliate in the SEC (Southeastern Conference).  Young played in ten games his freshman season before attending Highland (IL) CC for the summer.  He will add a needed big man to the post for the Cardinals in January.

Senior Season at Austin High School: He averaged 24 PPG, 12 RPG, and 3.7 APG during his senior campaign at Austin High School (Chicago, IL) in 2005, where he earned multiple honors.
