Howard joined the Cardinals program in January, after playing his freshman season (2005-06) at Meramec Community College in St. Louis, MO. Lamarr is a 2005 graduate of Webster Groves High School (St. Louis, MO) where he played for Coach Jay Blossom. He helped lead the Statesmen to a #1 ranking in Missouri Class 5A, and a final record of 24-5. Lamarr averaged 12 points, 7 rebounds, and 3 assist per game during his senior campaign. He was named the St. Louis Prepcast "Player of the Game" in two District Play-off Games his senior season. The Statesmen won the Meramec Holiday Tournament, The Webster Groves First Bank Classic Title, and earned the St. Louis Post-Dispatch Large School final ranking of #2.
