Last Season: John spent the first semester at Bosier-Parish CC in Louisiana before transferring to Mineral Area College in January. He was the leading scorer and rebounder at BPCC upon his departure. John was ranked as the #65 JUCO Sophmore in the nation by JUCO Junction in their pre-season top 150.
Senior Season at Blytheville High School: Fowler averaged 21.3 points, 8.0 rebounds, and 3.2 assists a game during his senior season at Blytheville High School. He helped lead his high school team to a 25-4 record and the Arkansas Final Four his senior season, while winning the Blytheville Tournament, the Sikeston Invitational, and the NEA Tournament. John was a two time All-State and All-Conference performer, and as a senior he was the Courier News "Player of the Year," the NEA "Player of the Year," and was selected to play in the Arkansas All-Star Game. John is currently 5th all-time on Blytheville High School's scoring list.
