Corey Tate and the Cardinals don't play a game until November, but they tallied a win in the recruiting battle with several other "Top 10" JUCO programs on Felton's decision to play at MAC. Jeremy was one of the best players in the St. Louis Metro Area leading the Southwestern Conference in scoring at 19.4 points, rebounding at 13.1 a game, and finishing second in blocks at 2.8 swats a game. He only played in 16 games this season after transferring into BWHS, and his team was 7-9 when he played after a 1-7 start. Felton earned All-Southwesten Conference (First Team), Illinois All-State (Honorable Mention), St. Louis Post-Dispatch All-Metro (Honorable Mention), and Belleville News Democrat All-Area (Second Team). Felton was listed as the #13 player in Illinois by Mid-States Hoops.com and ranked as one of the top 100 players in Illinois by ChicagoHoops.com entering his senior season at #47. The Maroons finished Second at the Southwestern vs. South Seven Conference Challenge after Jeremy's arrival. "Felton is a very athletic player that has the ability to dominate a game on both ends of the floor," stated BWHS Head Coach Joe Muniz.
