2006 at Hazelwood East HS:

Fulton was a 2006 graduate of Hazelwood East High school and was widely known as one of the best football players in the St. Louis Metro area.  He was listed as a Top 2006 senior by MO Sports Online and finished in the Top 20 in receiving in St. Louis with 34 catches for 753 yards (22.15 YPC).  He knows what dedication and winning is all about as his Spartans were ranked #1 in the state in football during his senior season and he was named “St. Louis Prepcast’s Player of the Game” in the 6A State Championship Game at the Edward Jones Dome.  But, Fulton has traded in the helmet and pig-skin for the hard-wood and round-ball at Mineral Area College.  He was a solid basketball player at Hazelwood East averaging 15.7 points, 2.2 rebounds, 2.3 assists a game.  Fulton gained most of his attention on the gridiron, but wasn’t overlooked in the gym by ranking 13th in scoring in the Suburban North Conference.  The Cardinals are hoping that his athleticism and potential translates to a solid basketball career.  “He is an exciting player to watch, he is very athletic and is super-explosive in transition.  He has loads of potential and we expect great things from him in the future,” commented Head Coach Corey Tate.
