2007 at Simeon:
Hall played an important role on the back-to-back Illinois Class AA State Championship team this season. Brandon Hall, a 6’1” sharp-shooting guard, played in an All-Star line-up this past season. He was back-court mates with Derrick Rose (University of Memphis), and team-mates with Tim Flowers and Kevin Johnson (Univ. of Wisconsin - Milwaukee). Hall helped lead the Wolverines to a 30-2 record this season winning the Chicago City Title, a Regional Championship, Sectional Championship, and Illinois Class AA State Championship under IHSA “Coach of the Year” Robert Smith. Hall averaged 5 points, 2 assists, and 2 rebounds a game during the 2007 campaign. Hall made the ChicagoHoops.com Top 100 seniors-to-be in Illinois list at #40, and was selected to play in the Chicago Public League Luther Bedford All-Star Classic. Brian Stinette (ChicagoHoops.com) stated, “Hall can flat out play! The 6’1” guard, who plays for MeanStreets Express AAU, dropped shots from beyond the arc all weekend. He has one of the smoothest shooting strokes in the state of Illinois.”
