(PARK HILLS) – Emilie La Breyere, of Muskegon, MI, recently joined Mineral Area College’s Admissions Office as an Admissions Representative.

Before coming to MAC, she worked in University of Missouri-St. Louis’s Student Retention Services and has had a recurring summer job (office assistant and receptionist) at J-98 FM, “The Boot” radio station. She has also worked in MAC’s Bookstore.

La Breyere was educated at University of Missouri-St. Louis, graduating summa cum laude from UMSL and UMSL's Pierre Laclede Honor's College, receiving a bachelor's degree in art history and a minor in studio art. She also attended Mineral Area College where she received an associate of arts degree. She is a graduate of Farmington High School.

In her spare time, La Breyere creates and sells her own art work, occasionally donating pieces to local charities. Her work can be seen (and purchased) at Dress 2 Impress Resale and Earth Mother Health Foods in downtown Farmington. She works in ink, graphite, watercolor, acrylic and oil. She enjoys spending time with her family and her faith, and is particularly interested in ancient Egyptian antiquities and culture.
