MAC Foundation
Mission: Fund Raising & Friend Raising
The Mineral Area College Foundation mission is a simple one: to
support and advance the growth of Mineral Area College, its student
body, faculty and administration. Its mission is accomplished
through the development and implementation of ongoing and special
projects as well as improvement of the physical facilities. As
it begins its third decade as a not-for-profit corporation, the
Foundation defines activities that seamlessly align with the goals
established by the Mineral Area College Board of Trustees.
The
MAC Foundation Board of Directors believes the strength of Mineral
Area College’s future greatly depends on those who care
for it today. Many who contribute to the Foundation recognize
the importance of maintaining higher education in our area. Others
provide memorial gifts as tributes to loved ones. Still others
are motivated for reasons such as long-standing camaraderie and
loyalty to Flat River Junior College and Mineral Area College
. Whatever the gift-giving reason, Mineral Area College Foundation
can help you “invest” in Mineral Area College to serve
our area’s higher education needs today and for future generations.
A
component of MAC Foundation is friend raising and education. The
Foundation invites and encourages alumni, employees, and friends
of the college to participate in Foundation events.
