Mineral Area College Foundation . . . The Silent Partner with Dynamic Results

In 1983, a group of civic-minded individuals possessed the vision to create Mineral Area College Foundation as the fund raising appendage for Mineral Area College. For over two decades, the Foundation has worked silently as a vehicle to support the Mineral Area College mission to enrich educational offerings as well as our region’s quality of life. MAC Foundation exemplifies a symbiotic relationship among alumni, employees, businesses and friends of the college whose sole benefactor is Mineral Area College.

MAC Foundation cultivates partnerships with alumni, individuals, businesses and organizations to attract funding for scholarships, matching grant programs, special projects, facilities and services which benefit our students, faculty and community members. The Foundation is Mineral Area College’s silent partner working quietly to enrich the college’s mission.

Mineral Area College Foundation support enables Mineral Area College to provide quality, affordable education and innovative programs for the students, businesses and communities it serves.

The Foundation is a 501(C)(3) corporation under Missouri law and is legally separated from Mineral Area College. MAC Foundation exists solely for the benefit of Mineral Area College, serving as the preferred channel for private gifts to all areas of the college. All gifts to the Foundation qualify for the maximum allowable deduction under the law. Donors should consult their tax advisors to determine the tax deductibility of any gift as it relates to individual situations.

The Mineral Area College Foundation Board of Directors is comprised of dedicated alumni and business and civic leaders who represent sub-districts within the college district. The directors serve without compensation and contribute to the Foundation’s management and leadership to generate support for Mineral Area College. Directors commit time, treasure and talent to ensure the Foundation’s success.
