Question to ListServ:
After a recent upgrade to JICS 7.1.3, when we use quizzes, we suddenly have an extra set of results below the Students' results. In other words, once the quiz is activated a table with all the students' test results is populated. But now we have an additional table below the "Student Results" called "Other Results," with different names listed. Sometimes the names are Administrators in JICS (like our Teaching & Learning Technologists) and sometimes even the faculty names are listed. We can't figure out where these names come from, or why they are listed here. Anyone seen this, or know anything about it?

Responses from ListServ:
from TyAnn Lindell <tyann.lindell@wartburg.edu>
- *think* that is a result of the student view option.
We have 7.2 and my name appears under Results from Student Emulation.
from Marie Gardner <MGardner@neosho.edu>
- We think so too, TyAnn. In fact, I think that in order to test the view as Student emulation in the Gradebook, the instructor needs to record a grade on the assignment in that area… We are 7.2.1 right now.

- As others have mentioned, those rows are there to let your faculty (and occasionally other administrators) to view their results after having taken a test via the “Student Emulation” feature. This is to allow the faculty member to enter grades and feedback, and then view that via the “Student Emulation” to see exactly what it would look like to a student. There was a bug in the initial release of “Student Emulation” that caused faculty and administrators to show up in the “Other Results” area all the time, regardless of whether they had used the feature to take that test or not. As of 7.2 you will only see those results after a faculty member has actually taken that specific test via emulation, and in addition they will more accurately be labeled “Results from Student Emulation” to help avoid any confusion.
