Question to ListServ:
My understanding of how a course looks upon creation is that there is only one standard course template in LMS. However, we have a desire to create multiple templates so that new courses created for different programs have a different set up (e.g., a certain standard set up for the nursing programs based on weekly presentations while a different one is used for other adult programs, etc.). We're thinking of creating multiple course "templates" by setting dummy courses and copying them over the standard set up once new courses are created each term. However, this creates problems with permissions as the school is hoping to have one or two administrative assistants do the copying instead of the faculty (to prevent confusion in adjuncts who don't have much experience in LMS). Does anybody have experience in trying such a venture that you would be willing to share?
