Question to ListServ:

Is there any way to show student’s grades in the gradebook and coursework for students who have withdrawn from the course? We have students who have “transferred” between various sections of lab. However, the way this is treated by our ERP and LMS is they are withdrawn from one section and registered for the other section. The instructor would like to be able to see the grades they gave the students in the original section so he can make the appropriate change in the new section they are in.

• My experience has been if the student received grades on an assignment before they withdrew they appear at the bottom of that assignment in Coursework with the grade. Any assignments after they are withdrawn do not show.

• We have a problem with this as well. I asked about it at a Jenzabar conference and was told it is possible to keep those records. Whoever handles the withdrawal needs to select the option of retaining records once a student withdraws. Currently that isn’t happening with our settings. The only area in which I still see what students have submitted in the collaboration.
