Welcome to the Mineral Area College Information Technology Department. Located in the Technology Center, we provide technical assistance for all students, faculty, and staff. Our mission is to provide you with a suite of IT services and resources.

Important Announcements

• New email ! Mineral Area College, in partnership with Google, is excited to announce a new, improved e-mail system. Benefits include a larger e-mail quota, shared calendaring features, and improved spam and virus filtering.

• Please remember that food and drinks are not permitted in labs and classrooms.
• Beginning Fall 2007, jump drives will be required in classrooms T-100 & T-103; no floppy drives are installed. Mapping your jump drive may be necessary.
• Beginning Spring 2008, Office 2007 will be installed in classrooms and labs. Faculty and staff upgrades will also occur beginning with instructors requiring the software for courses they teach.

Wireless:

• Personal wireless devices are not allowed on campus, including College Park, unless you have permission from the IT Dept.
