Subject: Last end date for an e-Racer course and online class access

Question to ListServ:

We are approaching the end of our first semester using e-Racer and we wondered how this works out at the end of a semester. If the last_end_ date on a course is 07/01/2009, and I schedule an online exam on that day will it be available to students? Or will I have to modify the last_end_date on the course in the EX database to 07/01/2010 23:59:59? Any help is appreciated.

• The courses in LMS never really end. The end date of the course set by the Registrar is used to determine the last session used in the attendance portlet. The end date is also used to determine whether the course is a current course or a previous course in reference to the current date. You could add an assignment that is weeks after that posted end date of the course and the students could still get to the course.
