Faculty/Staff Jenzabar/MyMAC HelpDesk Software Info
We have begun using a helpdesk software for Jenzabar/MyMac. This software will afford us better tracking information as well as better communications with the requester. We would appreciate it if you would submit your requests via this software. It is not required, but would be appreciated.
Below is the information on getting to the link for a shortcut on your desktop. It is only accessible from on-campus machines.
1. Please right click on your start button
2. Choose Explore
3. Scroll down to the P drive
4. Click on the folder JenzHelp
5. Now click on the file called helplink.bat
Once complete you should now have a new icon on your desktop. The icon is a blue circle with a ? in it. This will open up the report request/tracking tool.
Again, we will still always accept requests via phone calls or email, but feel that the use of this software would be a win win for both the requester and IT. Please give it a try.
